Event Info

Designer applications are currently open!  Check out the information below, then take a peek at our Designer Guidelines for helpful tips and suggestions for the sort of products we’re hoping to have at the fair.  Finally, go to the Rules and Application page, give everything a good read, and follow the link to fill out an application form. We’ll get in touch with you ASAP!

Something Extra is scheduled for a tentative opening date of Thursday, June 21st – the first day of Summer!  It will remain open for three weeks, with a minimum of three days prior for designers to set up their booths.  One day is set aside after the event closes for teardown.

Thanks to our partnership with GRIMA, we are able to offer special, discounted booth rates for this introductory event, though please note that these may change for future events.  There will be three tiers of booths available:

  • Sponsor Booth (L$6000) – Space for up to six (06) products to be displayed.*
  • Premium Booth (L$3000) – Space for up to three (03) products to be displayed.
  • Standard Booth (FREE!) – Space for one (01) product to be displayed.
*Sponsor Booths are unavailable, but may open back up at a later time.  Please indicate on the application if you are interested in a Sponsor Booth should they become available!

There is no set theme for this event.  Please feel free to make whatever you like (within the rules and guidelines).  Don’t feel like you have to limit yourself to modern/urban attire either. You are welcome to create in any style you like. BDSM, retro, fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, cyberpunk, etc. are all perfectly fine and encouraged!

As mentioned, this is an adult-friendly, kink-positive event.  Products of a sexual nature are more than welcome, provided they fit in with the rules and guidelines.

Please see the Design Guidelines page for more info on mesh bodies and attachments that are most commonly used by these communities, as well as a list of product ideas and general notes that we’ve put together to help you in your design process.

More information regarding event logistics, such as vendor systems and prim allowances, will be released at a later date.  Deadline for designer applications is May 31st, 2018.
